on poverty alleviation Programs, is registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The
organization implements integrated development approach combining Education,
Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out Internal Audit in field offices
& country offices according to the monthly internal audit plan - Clearly identify major audit risks,
discuss findings with the manager and suggest appropriate recommendations - Conduct investigations as requested by the
programmes and country management. - Prepare, preserve and ensure the various
supporting documentations for audit. - Ensure the quality of audit in conformity
with the Internal audit manual. - Maintain Internal Audit professional
practices. - Actively promote good governance, risk
& control
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM),
Finance & Accounting or a related field - The applicant should have completed at
least level 2 of CPA/ ACCA and also possess vast knowledge of the IPPF. - At least two years’ experience in Auditing.
