• The Senior Systems Engineer will be
  responsible for setting up routines and strategies to ensure smooth
  running of IT infrastructure, networks and software for enterprises and
  companies
• The incumbent will interact with clients
  and advise them on how they can leverage IT and technology to improve
  efficiency and effectiveness in their businesses
• The jobholder should be comfortable
  innovating around the latest infrastructure technology, including cloud,
  and customize it for the needs of the client.
• Tasked with the set up, configuration and
  maintenance of customer IT infrastructure.
• Guide and train junior system
  administrators and engineers

• The ideal candidate should preferably hold
  a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, data
  communication, telecommunications, computer science or an equivalent
  educational / professional background.
• At least four years of relevant
  professional experience in a large, diverse, server environment.
• Have a hands-on mentality.
• At least two years of prior government and
  / or commercial consulting experience.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of public
  cloud providers like Azure, AWS or other major vendors of public cloud
  providers.
• Previous exposure and experience in SharePoint,
  Navision and Dynamics CRM.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking, VPNs,
  DNS, load balancing and setting up firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of VMWare, Hyper-V, HP,
  IBM, Cisco, VCE, Dell Systems and other major vendors of infrastructure
  technology.
• Strong knowledge of emerging IT technology
  solutions and you are on top of industry trends.
• Previous exposure and experience in
  translating the end state business and technology models into architecture
  blueprints including recommendations for third party components,
  definition of required custom components and determination of the
  appropriate solutions to use.
• Ability to work independently and manage
  multiple task assignments as well as team members.
• Good team player with a proven track
  record of leadership experience.
• Possess excellent verbal and written
  communication skills, including customer relations experience.
• Highly creative with the ability to design
  innovative approaches to developing solutions.
