• Formulate
  a digital services assurance framework supporting the identification &
  measurement of key risks and mitigating controls for critical
  digital services and the review of these controls for adequacy &
  effectiveness
• Establish
  a Digital Services Controls Monitoring Dashboard and timely periodic
  reporting on key controls supporting digital services offering
• Carry
  out enterprise wide digital services risk assessments and maintain
  updated registers of these risks
• Perform
  root cause analysis of fraud & revenue leakages affecting digital
  services offering to ensure required improvement or resolution of
  weaknesses
• Tasked
  with planning and Execution of scheduled audit engagements on
  digital services offering including gaming, entertaining & financial
  services among others
• Reviews functions and
  activities to determine the nature of operations, procedures, and related
  internal control to achieve established objectives;
• Determines the scope, nature
  and timing of audit activities;
• Designs audit procedures and
  programs;
• Holds opening conferences to
  communicate with auditees on issues related to the audits;
• Prepares audit planning
  memoranda for the supervisor’s approval;
• Execute audit tests to
  determine the effectiveness of internal controls underlying various
  digital services
• Engage management and agree
  mitigating actions to resolve key control issues
• Prepare engagement reports
  for audit engagements executed
• Continuously
  engage management in the resolution of identified control weaknesses and
  periodically report on the status of issues resolution.
• Performs
  pre and posts products assurance testing to ensure that digital
  products and services have sound controls to mitigate against fraud,
  regulatory, revenue leakage and related inherent risks
• Work
  closely with IT business partners to ensure full understanding of data
  flow, data integrity and system security underling digital services
• Represents
  Business Risk management on organizational project teams and tenders
  related to the delivery of digital services
• Coordinate
  audit reviews on digital services by external reviewers and facilitate
  issues assurance initiatives

• The ideal candidate for the MTN Senior
  Auditor Digital Services job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or
  business field such as BSc (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
  Engineering), Computer Engineering, Telecommunications; or Computer
  Science with strong liking for engineering; statistics, commerce or
  the equivalent
• Possession
  of a post graduate qualification such as CISA, CIA will be an added
  advantage
• At least five years of in a digital & financial services sector, at least three
  years in external or internal audit specializing in business
  process & technology assurance with a reputable organization.
• Proficiency
  in the use of auditing software, data analysis automation such as ACL
  Audit Exchange
• Sound
  knowledge of information security risks & controls knowledge
• Broad
  working knowledge of auditing techniques and standards
• Previous
  Technology & Products risk assessment experience
• Strong
  experience in performing and leading technology risk assessments as well
  as development and execution of audit plans
• Prior
  exposure and experience working with management at all levels
• Experience
  in products design & development in a telecom environment is added
  advantage
• Additional Training in Internal audit , Data analytics, Risk
  assessments , Process Assurance
• Considerable
  skill in assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying
  significant exposures, analyzing and detecting changes in key risks and/or
  control effectiveness.
• Skill
  in developing appropriate recommendations to address exposures.
• Considerable
  skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure
  under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Proven
  ability to learn new operations quickly and work independently a must.
• Requires
  a conceptual knowledge of aspects of IS, process and products
  auditing
• Conceptual
  knowledge of digital services and inherent risk exposures.
• Ability
  to formulate an audit program with appropriate testing mechanisms, execute
  the audit program, recognize control weaknesses, assess the materiality
  of these weaknesses, and relate them back to the scope and objectives of
  the audit.
