The Adventist Development and Relief Agency – ADRA Uganda is a
Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization of the Seventh-day Adventist church
that demonstrates God’s love and compassion. The organization works with people
in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering
partnerships and responsible action. Currently the organization implements
relief and development projects in West Nile, Acholi, Karamoja and South-western
Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Project
Accountant job placement should preferably hold a Bachelors’ degree with
Accounting being the major subject. A professional accounting
certification will be an added advantage. - A minimum of three years of related
working experience in accounting with a reputable organization, most
preferably an NGO. - Computer literate with experience in using
various accounting packages; high degree of integrity; well organized; - Ability to work under pressure; good
communication and report writing skills; - Proven ability to live and work in
hardship areas such as refugee camps. - Ability to speak at least one of the major
languages spoken in West Nile region is an added advantage.
