now seeks to recruit on behalf of its valued Client in the manufacturing
industry.
Responsibilities:
- The Personnel Officer will make sure that
the company human resources policies and procedures are well interpreted,
implemented and complied with for
smooth running of the company. - Support the HRM in the day to day running
the HR department. - Regularly monitor and detect workers’
grievances and promptly reporting them to the HR manager. - Ensure workforce compliance of the
disciplinary code of conduct. - The incumbent will also interpret
management policies, rules and regulations, circulars, directives and the
collective agreement to the works. - Prepare and arrange disciplinary sessions
for those who are suspended to give them fair hearing within the specified
time period. - Work closely with HoDs/Hos and ensure that
good standards of behaviour at work are in place - Ensure that there s accurate an reliable
data for decision making. - Administer staff appraisal up to merit
award stage.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or social works and social
administration with a bias in Human resource management. - Possession of a Master’s degree in human
resources management or a related field with a bias towards HRM/CIPD. - Professional qualification of Chattered
Institute of Personnel and Development. - A minimum of three years’ experience in managing personnel of which two should
be gained at senior level. - Good analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Age: Above 30 years
