Graduate Intern will be recruited for acting position of Community Development
facilitator (CDF) to fill the existing gap in Nyakesi parish
Responsibilities:
- Provides
support in the mobilisation of the communities for any planned activity as
they work together with project point person. - Generate
quality sponsorship communications as he or she works closely with the
CDFs, community volunteers, Sponsored Children, their families and
the community structures. - Serves
as the project point person during the facilitation process in terms of
trainings, meetings and community dialogues. - Actively
participates in home visits while working together with the
respective CDF and the community volunteers. This exposes him or her to
gain interaction skills in guidance and counselling. - Prepares
weekly work plans and the internship report to the attached supervisor
in the organisation and to the institutional supervisor. - Promotes
team work and good working environment within work place and organisation.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Plan
International Programmes Graduate Intern Intern job placement should hold
a Bachelor’s degree in Social
Sciences / Development Studies - The
applicant must be a recent graduate of not more than 18 months - No working experience required
- Good team player
- Demonstrated
ability to work under pressure and produce results within deadlines - Excellent
interpersonal skills and ability to establish credibility quickly - Ability
to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels - Excellent
communication (oral and written) skills in English - Knowledge
and ability to use MS Office tools - Graduates
should be willing to commit their time on the programme for the entire
year. - Graduates
with demonstrated good character, creativity, honesty, positive attitude,
ability to learn.
