Job Summary: The Manager
Credit Administration will lead and supervise Credit Administration department,
taking care of the technical aspects of the department, highlight risk areas
within credit operations in a timely manner and initiate their corrective
action. The incumbent will proactively manage the technical aspect of the
credit administration processes applicable to the Bank’s portfolio and conduct
Credit Administration within the parameters of the banking laws and
regulations. The incumbent will also streamline the processes of Credit
Administration to assist the business in originating good quality assets.
Credit Administration will lead and supervise Credit Administration department,
taking care of the technical aspects of the department, highlight risk areas

Credit Administration within the parameters of the banking laws and

- Manage a credit team in managing the daily
administration of loan documentation in full compliance with the internal
policies, procedures and external regulations. - Keenly review loan documents and liaise
with internal and external parties to ensure proper and efficient delivery
of credit administration operations - Generate, review and maintain various loan
reports for presentation to credit committees, and other stakeholders in
line with credit policies and guidelines. - Ensure that there, is a robust process for
the safe custody and control of all loan processing and security
documents. - Carry out periodical review on loan
administration policies and procedures to streamline processes and meet
the business needs. - Ensure all lending Documentation is
complete as per the institutional Policies and Procedures with respect to
loan amounts, terms and conditions, borrowing mandate, authorized
signatory etc. - Ensure compliance with internal policies
and procedures, credit approval terms and conditions, regulatory ratios, complete
documentation and verification, thereof, before approving any loan
facility. - Review daily system credit monitoring and
management reports and identify non performing accounts with
irregularities and proactively follow-up to ensure corrective action is
taken in line with credit policy. - Ensure highest level of customer service
and relationship management and improved credit Turn Around Time. - Regularly give required input for the
review of the credit incentive
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Manager Credit
Administration job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law,
Banking, Finance, Business Administration or related field - Possession of a Master’s degree will be an
added advantage - At least five to eight years’ experience
in Credit Administration and thorough knowledge of bank Credit operations
and regulations.
