Services Group in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania with Kenya as the Headquarters. It
seeks to recruit for its valuable client, a Multi-National Oil Company.
& Project Engineer will coordinate and manage their Fuelling Systems
Equipment i.e. fuel dispensing pumps, air gauges, air compressors Generating
sets, Electrical Network and other related activities collaboration with the
service provider(s). The incumbent will be tasked with projects coordination
and overseeing the company depot and Hospitality management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance
(PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan
in missed maintenance activities, and lead contracted service provider(s)
to deliver effectively. - Efficiently manage Maintenance Service
Provider Contracts and ensure they meet company and legal requirements
while at the stations (OR at any other site as per assignment). - Develop clear accountability for
maintenance schedules with a strategy to manage expenditure. - The jobholder will manage the process of
disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining agreement
to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal. - Offer technical expertise to the team of
contracted service provider(s). - Develop, implement and manage key
performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibilities for the
service providers. - Input and hold responsibility for
maintenance budgets. - Prepare the annual Maintenance budget,
forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring
compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to
completion of projects Relationship Management. - Work as part of the Management team to
share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and
implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure
improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line
with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and
Customer requirements. - Formulate and maintain strong
relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal
performance. - Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage
with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the
maintenance strategy. - Communicate with stakeholders the impact
of market change and potential effects on engineering design and
development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service
while optimizing cost. - Work closely with and communicate with
other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers. - Ensure an effective interface of the
Maintenance department with ALL the other departments of the company.
Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Degree in
Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics OR equivalent. - Possession of a Diploma or equivalent in a
Petroleum Management Course. - A minimum of three years’ experience in a
similar position. - Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in
Microsoft Office Software Packages.
