Organisation which is part of the International Kolping Society (IKS), based in
Cologne Germany and founded by Fr. Adolph Kolping. It is a worldwide network of
Kolping families organised variably at Local, Regional and International
levels. Uganda Kolping Society owns Companies of Kolping Microfinance (U) LTD
and Kolping Holdings (U) Ltd.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The incumbent will manage all F&B and
    day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest
    standards
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and
    external customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat
    business.
  • Coordinate the design of menus, pricing
    and continuously make necessary improvements for customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond
    proactively to all of their concerns
  • Provide a two-way communication and
    nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Train/orient staff in their jobs for
    improved service.
  • Comply with all health and safety
    regulations
  • The incumbent will make daily, weekly, and
    monthly reports to the Manager
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    Diploma in Hotel and Institutional Catering or its equivalent from a
    recognized institution
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a
    Hotel industry
  • Excellent communication and excellent
    interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good negotiation, analytical and problem
    solving skills
  • Ability to Coach and mentor others
  • Good team working skills.
  • Age: Between 28 – 40 years.
