Friends of Christ Revival (FOC-REV) Ministries Uganda is a
non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, inter-denominational charitable
organization that was established in 1999 by a group of volunteers as a
response to a crisis caused by HIV &AIDS and poverty in rural communities
in Uganda. FOC-REV Ministries Uganda exists to work with the poor and
marginalized rural people to improve their livelihood and increase
self-reliance through education support, health services advocacy, food
security and networking.
About USAID SOCY Project:
Friends of Christ Revival (FOC-REV) Ministries Uganda will be
implementing a Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth (SOCY) project
targeting Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Hoima and Luwero districts, funded
by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through
Catholic Relief Services (CRS). The SOCY project interventions shall be
focusing primarily on OVC Case Management and household economic strengthening
through savings groups and associated interventions and parenting/caregiver
programs.
Job Summary: The
Administrative Assistant will provide effective and efficient secretarial
support, Manage and ensure key relationships are enhanced and maintained. The
incumbent will also offer support to branch office in arranging for and
coordination of activities in terms of logistics, equipment, communication with
clients and external visitors.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Support the Finance and Administrative
    Officer in financial management involving request for funds follow up on
    accountabilities, filing and preparing monthly and quarterly financial
    reports.
  • Issue and receive supplies in the store.
  • The incumbent maintains up to date store
    records.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by
    the Finance and Administration Officer and Project Manager from time to
    time
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the USAID Project
    Administrative Assistant should preferably hold a Degree in Business
    Administration, Secretarial Management, Accounting, or any other related
    Field
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in
    office management, record keeping, accounting, secretarial work, client
    care and project support
  • Highly self-driven to learn new ways of
    achieving organisation vision and programme interventions
  • Exhibits high moral character and standing
    for trustworthy and faithfulness to upholding organization information and
    accountability
  • Well developed customer care attitude
  • Possess excellent team working spirit and
    antiquities
