Salaried and Blue Segment

full range of banking services through two business units; Personal and
Business Banking (PBB), and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB).
Blue Segment will support the Manager, Salaried and Blue Segment in the
delivery of the Blue segment Customer Value proposition by executing the mass
market segment projects, tactics, and action plans to achieve the agreed Blue
Segment strategic objectives with regards to acquisition, migration, growth and
retention of mass market, in order to grow the mass market segment market
share.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Head of the mass market and
salaried segment in obtaining and building the Mass market insights such
as market size, growth, market shares, potential, customer profiles as
well as requirements to develop and grow the segment profitability. - Keenly analyses the mass market MIS report
and uses it to develop actions/ activities for instance Vintage analysis
on newly opened accounts, profitability per customer, arrears reports, etc
to enhance segment performance - Breaks down the CVP into clear actions to
increase adoption among the personal bankers, branch staff and CCC. - Uses daily dashboard to investigate causes
leading to the breach of agreed TATs. - Regularly monitors account opening, loan
processing, and payments TAT, shares daily dashboard and recommends
initiatives to improve TAT to the Head of the Mass Market and Salaried
Segment - Keenly monitors the performance of the
existing book on a daily basis by tracking fixed deposits that are due to
mature and Loans due for Top-Up, generates leads to the Personal Bankers,
regional and branch teams to increase uptake. - Monitors and tracks product penetration
per customer using the MIS report. Identifies cross sell opportunities for
savings and investment products and shares with the Personal Bankers,
regional and branch teams. - Monitors daily liabilities inflows and
outflows (Salaries, EFTs, Forex transactions, Cash deposits and Cash
Withdrawals), propose initiatives to grow and retain liabilities to the
Head of the Mass Market and Salaried Segment, and executes the agreed
initiatives - Supports the Head of the Mass Market and
Salaried Segment in the roll out of digital solutions that are required
for effective acquisition and retention of mass market customers through
creating awareness amongst the sales team and initiating activities to
drive adoption. These include Agency Banking, Internet, mobile banking
etc.
Experience:
- The applicant for the Stanbic Bank Officer
– Blue Segment career opportunity should hold a first Degree in business
administration, economics, marketing or related degree from a recognized
university. - At least two years of banking experience.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of
different industry sectors and sector risk profiles/trends. - Good understanding of business and
financial management principles. - Working knowledge of multi-level products
and pricing structures available to Blue customers. - Knowledge of competitor product
offerings/channels/operational and marketing tactics.
