Health Officer will provide emergency
surge and technical support and ensure that there is effective and efficient implementation
of emergency nutrition interventions at the refugee settlement and host
communities in Kiryandongo district including; nutrition routine and mass
screening, treatment and referral, community mobilization and active case
finding, integrated outreach services, monitoring & evaluation, reporting,
as part of the current nutrition and health emergency response to the recent
South Sudanese refugee crisis.
Experience:

placement should preferably hold a Diploma
in General Nursing (Comprehensive desirable) or Public Health Nursing or
Diploma in clinical medicine. - Updated
practicing licence. - Relevant
diplomas and short courses in IMAM. - Prior
experience of working in partnership with district local government
and local health services including VHTs is essential. - Excellent
data collection and report writing. - Previous
experience of nutrition programming including IMAM in a refugee setting
preferred.
