Job Summary: The Director
Estates and Works will oversee the development and maintenance of the
University Plant

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Director Estates and Works will be the
Head of the estates department - In charge of administrative, financial and
personnel matters of the estates department - Coordinate activities of the Department
with other Departments and within the Department - Implement Estates policy matters of the
University - Coordinate all capital projects of the University
- The jobholder will coordinate the
execution of ail works (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical).
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized Institution - Possession of a Master of Science Degree
in Engineering from a recognized Institution - Possession of a valid Engineers
Registration Board Certificate for the last five years - Full Membership of Uganda Institution of
Professional Engineers - A minimum of ten years working experience,
five (5) of which should have been at Senior Level in a reputable
Organization - Excellent analytical ability
- (Excellent interpersonal skills
- Very good tactical and strategic planning
skills - Computer literacy skills
- Good team player with leadership skills.
- Age Limit: Below 55 years
