Job Summary: The Deputy
Manager – Production for its Confectionery Factory will provide support in the
management of the factory in Kakira, Uganda which produces 250 tonnes of hard
boiled sweets comprising of Cough Drops, Flat Lollipop, Ball Lollipop,
Deposited Candies and Milk Toffees, per month.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a bachelors’
degree in Industrial Chemistry/Food Science Technology - At least ten years’ experience in hard
boiled Confectionery manufacturing process; - Excellent product knowledge of, Flat
Lollipop, Ball Lollipop, Deposited Candies and Milk Toffees, and
Compressed Sugar Tablets. - Working knowledge in handling and
maintenance of confectionery forming machines, high speed die line and
wrapping machine, is essential. - Proven ability to demonstrate good
interpersonal skills and motivate team work will be an added advantage.
