developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in
conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Deputy
Director Finance will manage and monitor the Commission’s revenue collection
system, expenditure, reconciliation, budget performance and financial reporting
in line with the Commission’s financial policies and regulations and
international standards.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant for the Uganda
Communications Commission (UCC) Deputy Director Finance job placement must
hold a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; - Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce or any related field or in a related field
related; - Professional qualification ACCA, CPA
- At least eight (8) years of accounting
experience of which four (4) years should be in a managerial position in a
similar corporate setting. - Strategic planning skills
- Good financial management and accounting
skills - Good risk management, controls and
governance skills - Good stakeholder management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal
skills - Leadership effectiveness
- High degree of integrity
