About US:
InterAid Uganda Limited (IAU) is a non-governmental humanitarian
national organization established in 1988, and duly registered with the NGO
Board and NGO Forum. IAU is actively involved in programs geared towards the
protection and improvement of lives of disadvantaged people living in urban and
rural areas in Uganda and in the Great Lakes Region. InterAid Uganda is focused
on its thematic areas of Rights Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food
Security, Health (HIV&AIDS; Malaria; Maternal and Reproductive Health),
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Environment and Disaster Management and
good Management and Governance systems.
Job Summary: The
Administrator will mainly develop and monitor the implementation of systems,
policies and procedures for administration function, manage the day-to-day
office activities, providing technical assistance to management and staff on
interpretation and application of the organisation policies, standard operating
procedures, client (s) requirement as per the agreement (s) and other statutory
requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management,
    Management science, Commerce and or any other related qualification.
  • At least seven years of hands-on
    experience in the same role in an NGO setting.
  • Previous exposure and experience in office
    administration
  • Excellent computer skills and competence
    with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent both oral and written
    communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail is
    desired.
  • Good team-work background.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • A high measure of integrity, reliability,
    independence and flexibility
  • Openness to learn and ability to adapt and
    acquire new skills
