Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Maintains general ledger accounts by
reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts. - The jobholder also maintains accounting
controls by following policies and procedures; complying with Insurance,
Corporate and Individual Policies. - The Accountant will prepare Debtors
Ageing, Analysis and Follow up for recovery. - Corrects errors by posting adjusting
journal entries. - Reconciles general and subsidiary bank
accounts by gathering and balancing information. - Secures financial information by
completing database backups; keeping information confidential. - Provides financial status information by
preparing special reports; completing special projects. - Accomplishes accounting and organization
mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Accountant job
opportunity should preferably hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) - Professional accounting qualifications
i.e. C.P.A. Level 2 and above. - A minimum of six to eight years’
experience in manufacturing industry or service industry preferably
Hospital.
