Healthcare groups. We also cater to healthcare needs of patients from neighboring
districts and surrounding countries like Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania &
Kenya.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Maintains general ledger accounts by
    reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts.
  • The jobholder also maintains accounting
    controls by following policies and procedures; complying with Insurance,
    Corporate and Individual Policies.
  • The Accountant will prepare Debtors
    Ageing, Analysis and Follow up for recovery.
  • Corrects errors by posting adjusting
    journal entries.
  • Reconciles general and subsidiary bank
    accounts by gathering and balancing information.
  • Secures financial information by
    completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
  • Provides financial status information by
    preparing special reports; completing special projects.
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization
    mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Accountant job
    opportunity should preferably hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com)
  • Professional accounting qualifications
    i.e. C.P.A. Level 2 and above.
  • A minimum of six to eight years’
    experience in manufacturing industry or service industry preferably
    Hospital.
