Entebbe Handling Services, ENHAS has been in existence since April
1996. Along the years, our clientele has grown from 5 Airlines to 19 regular
scheduled Airlines, and many more special flights. To develop quality services,
ENHAS have organized to be certified by IATA Airport Handling Manual 804 where
we enter into Service Level Agreements, ISAGO (IATA safety Audit for Ground
Operations) which acts as a model for operational risk and safety management,
DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) training centre thus we offer training for
dangerous goods and, very recently by RA3 to screen cargo only from validated
entities as required by EU regulations.

Job Summary: The Accountant
will be responsible for the management and control of the revenue collection

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all income is collected and
properly recorded in the Tally system. - Ensure all credit clients have agreed
terms or valid contracts. - Tasked with the supervision and monitoring
of debt collection - Present Debtor’s age analysis to
management for advice on plans to recover the debts. - Work in close consultation with Principal
Accountant institute service disconnection when debtors fail to respond to
collection attempts. - Responsible for the analysis of income on
a monthly basis. - Ensure bank reconciliations of all
collection accounts is done on time. - Supervise selling centers by making sure
there is a cashier at all times and all procedures and policies well
followed. - Ensure that all revenue staff are well
equipped with the running contracts for clients. - Prepare staff performance appraisals and
reviews of all revenue staff. - Ensure proper use of revenue documents
e.g. receipts, invoices, journals, etc. - Responsible for the allocation of duties
to all revenue staff. - Guide management on improving the billing
and collection period - Improve where necessary on the management
and capturing of Revenue - Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the ENHAS
Accountant job opportunity should preferably hold a Bachelors’ degree in
Commerce, Accounting or equivalent. A member of professional accounting
body i.e CPA or ACCA. - At least five years of related experience
in Accounting or Finance in a reputable organization. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; - Good Numerical and analytical skills;
Integrity and ethics are a must. - Broad knowledge of computer packages like
MS Word, Excel and other accounting packages like Tally.
