Responsibilities:
- The Business Development Officer will build
Smart market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and
closing business relationships. - Develop, review and report on the business
development division’s strategy. - Ensure business growth through directing
and managing business development activities. - Present to and consult with mid and senior
level management on business trends with a view to developing new
services, products and distribution channels. - The incumbent will identify opportunities
for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an
increase in sales.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a University degree in Marketing or business related field. - At least three years’ experience in a
similar field is required. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability
to work in a team-oriented environment. - Confident, articulate and with strong
written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and take
full responsibility of assigned tasks. - Proactive and highly organized, with
strong time management and planning skills. - Previous exposure and experience in
customer service and support is an added advantage.
