The incumbent will maintain optimum system uptime
figures for e-banking, Mobile Banking, Sparrow, Pegpay and SFI systems
Responsible for SFI Authenticate Installation and
customer training and ensure timely SFI backups.
The job holder provides prompt, efficient, quality
service to end users;
Enhance his understanding of all electronic banking
systems and related applications on a day-to-day basis through practice and
self-driven learning;
Provides prompt and professional support for ALERTS,
SFI, ATM, and E-banking, Mobile Banking, Pegpay and SPARROW.
Acts to minimize operating costs by resolving all
possible Payments system faults locally (in-house) without need for escalation
to Group IT;
Minimizes expenses of the department through
disciplined and efficient use of Bank facilities such as Telephones;
Test and implement all electronic banking payment
systems implementation requests;
Adheres to bank Group IT standards and procedures in
performing duties.
The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Officer, IT
Channels should hold tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information
Technology/Systems or related field
Possession of a Postgraduate qualification would be
an added advantage
At least three years’ experience in any of the
following areas: Technical, support, Systems Administration, Applications
support, Electronic Banking/Channels Support, etc
A year’s experience in an IT environment, experience
in Channels administration would be an added advantage
Prior banking/financial industry experience would be
an added advantage
Working knowledge of SFI, ATM Sparrow applications, E-banking,
Mobile and Alert Solution
UNIX and SQL or other Database management skills
Good problem solving skills
Technically competent with broad knowledge of
systems management, development and implementation methods with specialist
knowledge of applications, Electronic Banking/Channels and peripheral systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
