• Inform and advise the Branch Manager and
  staff about the financial affairs of the branch
• Routinely monitor and supervise the
  performance of Banking Officers, Customer care Officers and Office
  Assistants through coaching, mentoring and verification of their work.
• Manage and supervise branch assets to
  ensure compliance to the asset management policy.
• Monitor savings portfolio management
  through documentation, recording and verification.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports and
  schedules to Finance and Operations departments.
• Regularly monitor the liquidity of the
  branch through preparation of cash flows, bankings & drawing funds on
  behalf of the Branch.
• Maintain proper books of accounts and
  ensure security of all branch documents
• Ensure proper security of the premises and
  company records and ensure compliance to internal controls.
• Keep record of Bank keys and safes,
  monitor dual control and register of access to strong room through
  maintenance of various registers.
• Manage expenditures, income, loans and
  savings within the annual approved budget.
• The incumbent will attend to internal and
  external auditors during their routine audits.

• The applicants for the Finance Trust Bank Branch
  Accountant job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in BCom
  (Accounting), BBA, BBAM (accounting Option) or other business related
  field from a recognized University.
• Possession of additional professional
  qualification in accounting will be an added advantage.
• One (1) year of working experience as an
  Accountant in a busy organisation is a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and
  analyze numbers.
• Good leadership abilities and skills
