Key Duties and
  • Take part in the development of the sales
    plan for the company’s airfreight and sea-land haulage services.
  • Participate in the implementation of the
    organization’s sales strategy for air cargo and sea land services.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Provide information by collecting,
    analyzing and summarizing market data and trends.
  • Ensure clients are updated on the status
    of their cargo on a daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills and
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    Bachelors’ degree from a recognized institution.
  • At least three years’ experience in the field
    of sales in a related field.
  • Previous experience working in the area of
    freight is an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in
    oral and written.
  • Ability to work well under stress
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to network, persuade and
  • Ability to work with teams to deliver set
    results within agreed organizational policies and procedures.
  • Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in
    Microsoft Office packages.
