Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Take part in the development of the sales
plan for the company’s airfreight and sea-land haulage services. - Participate in the implementation of the
organization’s sales strategy for air cargo and sea land services. - Actively seek out new sales opportunities
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Provide information by collecting,
analyzing and summarizing market data and trends. - Ensure clients are updated on the status
of their cargo on a daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelors’ degree from a recognized institution. - At least three years’ experience in the field
of sales in a related field. - Previous experience working in the area of
freight is an added advantage. - Ability to communicate effectively both in
oral and written. - Ability to work well under stress
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to network, persuade and
negotiate. - Ability to work with teams to deliver set
results within agreed organizational policies and procedures. - Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in
Microsoft Office packages.
