The National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders Uganda (NCHRD-U) is an
umbrella organization of individuals and organizations working to promote the
protection of Human Rights Defenders (HRD) in Uganda, united in our mission we
provide a platform for promoting synergy, cooperation, collaboration and
sharing of best practices among HRDs in Uganda to overcome challenges faced.
The NCHRD-U came to life during its launch in June 2013.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Protection
Officer job opportunity should hold a University degree in development
studies, humanities, Law, International Law, Social Sciences or related
field. Post graduate qualification in relevant field is an added
advantage. - At least five years’ experience in
managing protection related projects with strong experience working in
emergency and project management. - Demonstrated leadership, work experience
in monitoring and reporting, linking protection programs and budgets as
well as database management. - Proven ability to solve problems
creatively, multi-task and learn new concepts quickly - Excellent conceptual, presentation and
communication skills particularly in developing technical reports,
materials, guidelines, standards and tools, and must have qualities of
dynamism, leadership and interpersonal skills.
