primary zeal to save People’s jobs, save our Companies & grow our economies
by putting a stop to a dip in domestic & international sales. It is
recruiting for a leading FMCG distributor.
Job Summary: The Legal
Counselor will guide the Company on all legal matters relating to its role as
FMCG.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Attending Executive Committee and General
    Meetings of the Company, when requested.
  • Guiding on changes to Uganda legislation
    relating to the Company’s operation.
  • Maintaining an overview on the on-going
    effectiveness of legal aspects and advising on changes, as required.
  • Representing/arranging for appropriate
    representation on behalf of the Company in all instance where legal action
    is involved, affecting the Company.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    Bachelor’s Degree in LLB & Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
  • At least three years of related work
    experience as Legal Counsel in busy business environment.
  • High degree of Professional
    confidentiality .integrity, ethics & Persuasiveness
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of
    Criminal & Corporate Law & Procedures
  • Sound judgement and ability to analyse
    situations & information.
