Job Summary: The Head of
Sales will be responsible for generating the income for the Radio and TV stations from
advertising sales and sponsorship or save the company liquid expenditure
through negotiating swap deals.

Key Duties and

- Sale the Kingdom media Airtime to agencies
and individual big and small companies. - Hit the targeted sales collection for the
month or year with the main aim of being able to achieve agreed revenue
targets on a regular basis. - Work closely with colleagues involved in
marketing, promotions, production, and programming, to ensure that station
output supports revenue generation and that clients receive a consistently
high quality of service. - Build and develop long-term business
relationships through sourcing, identifying and securing new business
opportunities. - Generate creative solutions for existing
and prospective clients by presenting campaign proposals - Making the sale and delivering accurate
reports and forecasts of revenue on a weekly basis. - Working with the head of sales to organize
sales visits for purposes of presenting, and demonstrating Kingdom Media
products favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face to
prospect for new business - Work with the head of sales to create and
establish new business, and developing relationships with the existing
businesses in person and via telephone calls or emails - Maintaining accurate records, both in hard
and soft copy. - Attending trade exhibitions, conferences
and meeting, so that he/she can sale or collect contacts for prospective
clients. - Negotiating contracts and packages with an
aim to achieve monthly or annual targets. - Recording sales and order information and
sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer
system.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- One may not need a formal qualification to
be a Radio & TV Sales Executive, but a degree in business management,
marketing or communications will be an added advantage, with at least two
years in media sales experience. - Excellent sales skills and a high drive to
sell - Strong business skills and the ability to
make accurate revenue forecasts - Have the confidence, resilience, and
determination to pursue leads, overcome obstacles and secure deals - Ability to politely and professionally
handle rejection - Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills,
complemented by diplomacy - Be familiar with the potential of digital
communication channels for advertising and marketing campaigns - Ability to think creatively and generate
original ideas - Have a clear eye and nose for detail
- Ability to work calmly, effectively under
pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines - Extensive knowledge of the law, ethics and
industry regulations around Media sales - Understand when it is necessary, and how
to acquire, the relevant clearances and licenses, including copyright and
music clearances - Appreciate the requirements of the
relevant health and safety legislation and procedures - Possess strong IT skills, including word
processing and data handling - Have knowledge of the radio market,
different station and programme styles, and audience demographics
