Job Summary: The Database
Administrator for the 2017 Road User Satisfaction Survey (RUSS) will for
re-format and enter edited RUSS datasets into the RUSS database for storage and
online visualization.

Responsibilities:

- The incumbent will be re-formatting RUSS
data into an appropriate structure; - Importing the re-formatted data into a
relational database; - Tasked with uploading the database onto
the online RUSS interface; and - Responsible for documenting all processes
undertaken on the assignment to facilitate knowledge transfer;

Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda Road
Fund Database Administrator job opportunity must hold an Honors Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information
Systems or any other Data Communications related discipline. Post Graduate
qualification in any Computer Science or Information Technology discipline
is an added advantage. - Working knowledge of Python programming
language; - Previous exposure and experience working
with Linux open SUSE distribution; and - Knowledge of database development and
administration for Django based databases. - Excellent analytical skills;
- Good written and oral communication
skills; - A self-starter able to work under minimal
supervision; and - Ability to work under pressure in order to
meet tight deadlines;
