Job Summary: The Estates
Manager will take charge of the planning, organizing, controlling, budgeting
for and executing maintenance of the entire Bank estates.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Plan, coordinate, control and manage the
    Bank expansion programme across the country.
  • Tasked with budgeting, developing and
    designing the relevant standards, design cost and quality management
    systems, projects coordination with various stakeholders, supervision,
    monitoring and overall management until BOU approval.
  • Keenly review and appraise existing Bank
    infrastructure country wide, re-design to relevant local and international
    standards, budget, coordinate and control refurbishment of existing Bank
    infrastructure.
  • Develop maintenance management systems,
    plan, evaluate, monitor, coordinate, budget and control maintenance of the
    entire Bank electromechanical equipment country wide in line with the
    industry best practice including all transformers, generators,
    stabilizers, UPS etc. in addition to taking full responsibility for their
    optimal performance.
  • Develop the overall Estates management
    systems, standardise work methods, review, simplify and direct execution
    of the Estates duties in support to the Bank’s promise to all
    stakeholders.
  • Plan, appraise, motivate, manage growth
    and performance of subordinate staff including the Bank Electrical
    engineer and mechanical engineer.
  • Guide other Bank divisions in proper
    budgeting, process flow, technical advice in regard to effective and safe
    usage of the Bank infrastructure, fixtures and equipment.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank
    Estates Manager career opportunity should hold a Bachelor of Science in
    Engineering- Civil & Building Engineering
  • Possession of professional qualifications
    and/or membership to a professional body will be a definite advantage
  • At least five years’ experience in
    projects implementation or estates management, 3 of which should have been
    at senior level.
  • Excellent Computer skills in Auto CAD, MS
    Office especially Excel and Word
  • Creativity in designing Architectural
    & Structural designs.
  • Ability to evaluate and refine maintenance
    systems for the Bank infrastructure.
  • Effective projects execution and
    infrastructure maintenance skills
  • High engineering ingenuity especially in
    projects and estates management
  • Good drafting, writing, communication,
    reporting, and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Analytical and able to provide prompt and
    sound technical solutions and advice for the business.
  • Agile, a good team player with good client
    relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on
    deadlines with a good level of accuracy under minimum supervision.
  • Self-driven with a high level of
    integrity.
  • Good knowledge of budgets and handling of
    budget constraints
