• Ensuring that the credit control policies
  and procedures are updated and adhered to;
• In charge of managing the credit control
  function;
• Ensuring that collection levels meet the
  minimum set targets;
• Vetting applications for credit facilities
  and recommending their approval;
• Ensuring that key customer invoices and
  statements are accurate and reconciled;
• Preparing and submitting regular
  Management Credit Control Reports;
• Acting as the Secretary to the Credit
  Committee and ensuring that all matters arising from the Credit
  Committee’s meetings are resolved in the set timelines;
• Responsible for reviewing and strengthening
  the internal control environment in respect of the credit functions;
• Setting out collection targets in
  consultation with the Credit Committee and Sales Function and developing
  the related cash flow forecasts;
• In charge of reviewing of bad debts at
  periodic intervals and recommending remedial actions;
• Reviewing debt collected against targets
  and assisting in actual collection;
• Acting as a liaison with the company’s
  external debt collecting agencies and lawyers on litigation in respect of
  debt collection;
• Providing training support to the staff in
  the department; and
• Managing the general administration of the
  debt collection function.

• The ideal candidate for the Movit Products
  Limited (MPL) Credit Control Manager job placement should hold a
  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or other Finance
  related courses.
• Possession of CPA is added advantage.
• A minimum of five years of credit control
  management experience in a busy commercial environment.
• Ability to engage clients at senior
  management level.
• General management experience in a
  commercial environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
  skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
  and highly results driven.
