Job Summary: The Storekeeper
will be tasked with the management of stocks in the allocated stores.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

- Receiving stocks as it comes in, in a
manner stipulated in the Standard Operating Accurate procedures - In charge of daily monitoring of stocks
with major focus on: - Daily stock movement and
reconciliation - Short expiries
- Out of stock situations
- Product stacking
- Damages and quality issues
- Slow movers
- Thoroughly check the invoices issued for
goods going out to ensure that they match the goods issued out and the
ones raised on the delivery note To prepare the Store for stock taking and
ensure that products are easy to count, identify and re-verify as per
their SKUs - Supervise and monitor store arrangement to
ensure proper stacking, eliminate damages, loose pieces and general
product stacking Issue out goods to the loading personnel after verifying
the quantities sorted to match the quantities ordered - Ensure and enforce the practice of FIFO
(First In, First Out) and not LIFO (Last in First Out) - Know the available stocks in your depots
at any one point in time - Participate in stock taking and
reconciliation at all times
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s in procurement & Logistics Management/ Business
Administration or Diploma in Stores Management & Logistics - At least two years of related work
experience in a busy business environment - High degree of Professional integrity,
ethics, analytical & good communicator
