roads.
will manage the daily operations of his/her field team in order to ensure that
data collection is undertaken according to established guidelines in a timely
manner and that data from completed interviews is regularly transmitted to URF
Headquarters for processing.
Responsibilities:
- Location of sampled roads on which
interviews shall be undertaken; - Supervision of interviewers and
enumerators; - Work in liaison with relevant local
authorities involved in the survey; - Tasked with the management of field
materials and logistics; - Responsible for the transmission of
completed questionnaires to URF; - Attending to questionnaire edit failures.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda Road
Fund Team Leader career placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a
relevant discipline from an officially recognized university. - Possession of a post graduate
qualifications and computer certifications are an added advantage; - A minimum of two years’ experience of
field based data collection in a supervisory role preferably in the roads
sub-sector; - Computer literacy skills are mandatory
- Ability to lead and influence others;
- Ability to innovate and work under
pressure in order to meet tight deadlines; and - Ability to work under minimal supervision;
- Ability to cope with unpredictable field
conditions - Excellent communication skills.
