About Study:
The Program, in collaboration with the AIDS Control program (ACP) of
the Ministry of Health, has been funded to conduct the “Evaluation of the
Impact of the National Program for Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission
of HIV (PMTCT) in Uganda” study in 206 health facilities (HC IIIs, IIs, IVs) in
districts.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The Data Entry Clerk will ensure proper
storage/filing of forms in designated places - Ensure there is proper tracking of form
movement from and to the stores - Carries out proper logging in of forms
received - Uses passwords to enter into databases
data collected by the survey/census teams using designed entry programs - Ensure completeness of double data entry
where it is necessitated - Runs inconsistency programs and makes
edits on the stored data. - Makes routine backups at scheduled
intervals - Ensure proper storage of forms and backups
- Reports to the Data Management Officer any
errors made by the field teams found on the forms - The incumbent reports to the Data
Management Officer any malfunctions in the computer.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicants should preferably hold
Degrees or Diplomas in Secretarial studies or related fields from
recognized institutions - Good typing skills
- Computer literacy skills
- Previous exposure and experience in data
entry and or records management
