• Prepare work plans and budgets for the
  provision of services at the regional clinic
• Organize resources required for the
  provision of services at the clinic
• Ensure adequate provision of medical care
  to clients
• Effectively coordinate and support
  activities of the various staff at the clinic
• Provide HIV/AIDS prevention and care
  services at the regional clinic
• Ensure quality and other clinical standards
  and guidelines adhered to in the provision of services
• Evaluate the performance of clinic and the
  clinic staff regularly
• Provide information to the Regional
  Manager on the competencies of the staff of the clinic
• Inputs into the formulation of AIC
  clinical guidelines
• Appropriately maintain equipment and other
  resources at the clinic
• Avail resources to the clinic to ensure
  effective and efficient utilization and proper accountability Ensure that
  lessons learnt from the clinic are appropriately documented and shared out
• Send periodic reports on the activities of
  the clinic to the Regional Manager

• The ideal candidate for this vacancy
  should preferably hold a Clinical Officer’s Diploma
• At least three years’ experience in
  clinical work
• Previous exposure and experience in
  HIV/AIDS care
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and care
  issues
• Rights of people living with HIV/AIDS
• Knowledge of research methods – both
  quantitative and qualitative
• Knowledge of the local languages of the
  area
• Good management and organisational skills
