selected hospitals, health centers and antenatal clinics.

Job Summary: The Clinical
Supervisor will take charge of the AIC regional clinic, coordinate and
supervise the activities therein, and ensure that the necessary prevention and
care services are effectively provided to clients

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work plans and budgets for the
provision of services at the regional clinic - Organize resources required for the
provision of services at the clinic - Ensure adequate provision of medical care
to clients - Effectively coordinate and support
activities of the various staff at the clinic - Provide HIV/AIDS prevention and care
services at the regional clinic - Ensure quality and other clinical standards
and guidelines adhered to in the provision of services - Evaluate the performance of clinic and the
clinic staff regularly - Provide information to the Regional
Manager on the competencies of the staff of the clinic - Inputs into the formulation of AIC
clinical guidelines - Appropriately maintain equipment and other
resources at the clinic - Avail resources to the clinic to ensure
effective and efficient utilization and proper accountability Ensure that
lessons learnt from the clinic are appropriately documented and shared out - Send periodic reports on the activities of
the clinic to the Regional Manager
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for this vacancy
should preferably hold a Clinical Officer’s Diploma - At least three years’ experience in
clinical work - Previous exposure and experience in
HIV/AIDS care - Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and care
issues - Rights of people living with HIV/AIDS
- Knowledge of research methods – both
quantitative and qualitative - Knowledge of the local languages of the
area - Good management and organisational skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
