About Us:
The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is a statutory body
established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1999 (Chapter 145, Laws of
Uganda). The Act empowers ERA to regulate the Generation, Transmission, Sale,
Export, Import-and Distribution of electrical energy in Uganda.
Job Summary: The Transport
Facilitator will actively facilitate the travel of institutional staff and
clients.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Actively facilitate the travels of Staff,
    Board Members and Institutional visitors.
  • Deliver mail and other correspondences to
    institutional stakeholders.
  • Maintain the vehicle in good condition.
  • The incumbent will ensure cleanliness of
    ERA vehicle.
  • Offer technical support services as shall
    be required.
  • Perform any other duties as may be
    assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal applicant for the Electricity
    Regulatory Authority (ERA) Transport Facilitator job opportunity must hold
    an Must have O’ level certificate with a minimum of a pass in English
    language.
  • Hold a valid driving permit.
  • At least five years of driving experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team-work orientation
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • The applicant must be trustworthy
  • Should have a polite demeanour
  • Age: between 30 and 45 years
