water disinfection systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the sales and marketing team.
- Formulate and implement sales and
marketing strategies. - Perform professional presentations and
demonstrations of company products and services by physical visits to
customer locations. - Represent SolarWave in high-level meetings
with government ministries, embassies, UN agencies and NGOs. - Implement and maintain customer
relationship management strategies and systems. - Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and
reports.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a Master’s degree in marketing or business administration. - The ideal candidate should be an
experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with proven track record. - Strong leadership skills and ability to
lead by example. - High level of honesty and integrity.
- Ability to build deep and strong customer
relationships - Previous exposure and experience in
launching new products and entering new markets. - Cross-functional knowledge of issues,
policies, and programs within the sectors of water , related health and/or
water availability and treatment. - Entrepreneurial/nimble and fast moving
with a drive to succeed. - Hardworking, disciplined, and goal
oriented. - Outgoing, comfortable and confident in
social settings. - Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in the
Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites. - Fluent in English and Luganda. Knowledge
of French and Swahili. - Driving license and driving experience.
