Manager will be required to work closely with TAOU project structures
especially the women advocates in raising awareness within the community for
change in attitude regarding the use of reusable sanitary pads.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager will supervise the
channel sales as well as indirect sales network - Work closely with the production team to
ensure effective management and record keeping systems are maintained - Work with other team members to update and
develop business plans and produce relevant reports and funding
applications. - The incumbent will recruit, train and
supervise our project volunteers and sales representatives working
remotely in their communities - Building the capacity of girls on
menstrual hygiene management and Sexual Reproductive Health - Coordinate capacity building to equip the
targeted service providers with skills to provide quality services in
menstrual hygiene and Sexual Reproductive Health. - Preparation and submission of periodic
status reports to the supervisor for project monitoring and evaluation.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, social work, public health, or a
related field. - Additional training at post-graduate level
and experience managing reproductive health programs is of added advantage - At least five years working experience in
NGOs in the mid-level management position - At least three years’ experience working
with adolescents/youths - Proven experience working with diverse
partners/stakeholders to meet shared objectives. - Prior experience in management and
coordination of adolescent/youth sexual reproductive health interventions,
preferably with an international non¬governmental organization - Knowledge of adolescent sexual
reproductive health policies and strategies - Fluent in Luo.
