Job Summary: The Accounts
Payable Accountant will be responsible for the accounts payable management of
the company.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Process and record invoices for payment
timely and accurately. - Verify invoices against contract terms and
other agreements. - Sort and match invoices and check
requests. - Set up invoices for payment and reconcile
payments. - Prepare and process accounts payable
checks, wire transfers and ACH payments Process and record monthly AP
accruals. - Tasked with reconciliation of payable
accounts with supplier statements. - Prepare and submit aging summary reports.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain the vendor/supplier file, while
corresponding to their inquiries. - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up
to date - Offer support in month end closing.
- Process cash advance and reimbursements
for staff, Manage and reconcile accounts of cash, bank, AP and AR. - Work with banks, related departments for
the cash management issues. - Perform any other duties assigned by
superior.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the CNOOC Accounts
Payable Accountant job opportunity should hold a Bachelors degree or above
in finance, accounting or related fields. - At least three years of related working
experience. - Previous experience in building and
managing relationships with key government officials is a plus. - Extensive knowledge of financing,
accounting and banking, - Extensive knowledge of IFRS and other
GAAP. - Extensive knowledge of accounting software
package or related. - Broad knowledge and understanding of Oil
E&P.
