and Learning Manager is the lead program design specialist tasked to initiate
program development and performance improvement in relationship to three
aspects; program planning, preparation and monitoring. The incumbent will
provide technical leadership in learning, documenting and designing key program
interventions
Responsibilities:
- In charge of reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness, impact and directions
of program activities. - Responsible
for documenting broader program experiences in a way that contributes to
the development of appropriate policy and influences donors and other
partners. - In
charge of defining indicators of performance and ensuring a mechanism of
monitoring and evaluating the various activities of the program. - Providing
technical expertise in the areas of program development and evaluation to
meet the intended benefit to project clients. - Establishing
and implementing standardized procedures that ensure the integrity
of the organization growth plan and data management. - Format
data, develops and prepares reports, charts, tables and other related
documents and graphics. - Participate
with statisticians in the development of statistical methodology, study,
and design and data analysis. - Providing
leadership for all staff in the M&E unit. - Perform
any other duties as assigned by the Board and management.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a first degree in any of the
following: Monitoring and evaluation, Economics, statistics or
related fields. - At
least three years of professional experience working in the same in a similar
position. - Excellent
knowledge in monitoring and evaluation. - Previous
exposure and experience in project management. - Good
working knowledge of modern telecommunication systems, IT-know-how
(MSOffice, Access or other database program). - Excellent
written and oral communications skills in English.
