Job Summary: The Machine
Operator DJ should have a powerful effect on the psychology of the group and
influence the flow of the event. The DJ should be able to “read the crowd” as
quickly as possible and gain insight into what motivates guests to have fun as
well as educate about the institution’s savings and credit products, increase
savings deposits, grow new savings accounts, maintain savings and loan clients
by promoting with the Microphone.

- Assemble the PA, conduct a sound check of
the area and make sure everything is working and sounding great before start - Making all necessary announcements
throughout the event so that the public knows what is going to
happen. - To be selecting music that reflects
musical tastes and will produce a fun and active celebration so as to
encourage an active platform. - Keep to a very tight timing schedule.
- Operate Public Address equipment to play
music, jingles and advertisements. - Choose the music to be played.
- Keep up an entertaining and natural flow
of chat. - Interact with the audience about UGAFODE
products using the Microphone. - Discuss ideas with the Sales and Marketing
Supervisor and prepare playlists for future shows. - Ensure that the Machines are always kept
well and in good condition.

- The applicants for the UGAFODE
Microfinance Limited (MDI) Machine Operator job placement should hold a
Diploma in Radio broadcast from a reputable Institution - A minimum of two years’ experience in a
similar role - Excellent oral and written communication
skills including report writing skills - A DJ with ability enthuses and inspires
the public to give their best in order to achieve goals. - Self-motivated team player with the
ability to adopt and work cooperatively and effectively in different
situations - Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills as well as high level customer care - High level of honesty, integrity,
confidentiality, flexibility and tolerance - Willing to work long hours with minimum
supervision. - Age: Below 25 years
