is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation
affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS
Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment
Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in
11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America.
Administration Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring the
implementation of systems, policies and procedures for aligning the
Administration function to the directorate mission and monitor the performance
of the administration department in line with Baylor Uganda’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- The Administration manager initiates,
develops and monitors the implementation of policies and standard
operating guidelines for general administration, fleet, stock & Asset
management, stores management and procurement. - The incumbent will also monitor the
compliance of the Administration teams in all regions to HR systems and
policies - Periodically carry out Fleet management
auditing to review the reliability and integrity of the availed
information - Develop service contracts/agreements for
outsourced services and regularly monitor the performance of service
providers - Develop and monitor the implementation of
the departmental work plans & budget - Periodically carry out Stores and assets
auditing.
Experience:
- The
ideal candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration
plus professional qualifications in Management or Logistics Management,
Procurement or Accounting. - A
minimum of six years’ experience, with three (3) years’ experience
at senior management level in a reputable organization or a reputable
Non-Governmental Organization. - Good team player
- Good networking and partnership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
skills - The applicant must be dynamic
- Highly persuasive and convincing
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate
high initiative. - Age: Between 35-45 years
