About Coca-Cola:
Coca-Cola Sabco (CCS) secured Century Bottling Company Limited (CBC) in 1995. CBC has two plants, one in Mbarara and one in Namanve, Mukono, which has since set new standards for bottling operations in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • The incumbent will control, maintain, and operate Hi-tech equipment on Line 2, 3/4 and 5.
  • Conduct daily operational monitoring of line equipment and machinery i.e. Filler, Blender, Bottle Washer, Capper, Crowner, Conveyors and their accessories.
  • Document and implement all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance records in line with The Coca Cola Management System requirements.
  • Manage all mechanical breakdowns and rectified breakdowns.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time by the Supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must possess an Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering or a related field.
  • One year experience in a busy manufacturing environment; having worked in a FMCG industry would be an added advantage.
  • The applicant must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess good analytical ability and problem solving skills.
  • Strong team player possessing a high degree of integrity, flexibility, honesty and able to work under minimum supervision.
