Job Title:     Syrup Maker Assistant

About Coca-Cola:
Coca-Cola Sabco (CCS) secured Century Bottling Company Limited (CBC) in 1995. CBC has two plants, one in Mbarara and one in Namanve, Mukono, which has since set new standards for bottling operations in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Load sugar into the sugar SILO.
  • Maintain syrup records as per legal, company and The Coca-Cola Management System (TCCMS) standards.
  • Ensure documentation is 100% accurate and in accordance with The Coca-Cola Management System (TCCMS) procedures.
  • Carry out housekeeping and filing of records.
  • Ensure reconciliation of sugar is done at the end of the shift.
  • Support the Syrup Maker during the shift.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should hold a Diploma in Chemistry or Food Technology.
  • Must be hardworking and physically fit, able to work in shifts.
  • The applicant must be a reliable and hardworking team player.
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Previous experience in production environment will have an advantage.
