Program Officer Grants Compliance & Reporting plays a focal role in the
Compliance and Reporting Team by supporting grants management in compliance to
donor regulations, World Vision guidelines and standard Project Management
procedures. The position bridges the relationship between field teams and
SO/Donors. The Program Officer will maintain an updated database for all World
Vision projects and track grants performance on a quarterly basis.
Regular
follow up with cluster managers and project managers on the compliance to the
detailed Implementation Plans, budgets, donor regulation;
Organize
start-up meetings with acquisition team and program managers to ensure timely
and accurate roll out of projects;
Support
end of project processes in line with WVU and donor / SO requirements;
Follow
up major procurements for grant implementation;
Work
with project managers and SOs in case of changes in design, milestones and
budget;
Support
project managers to develop annual DIPs, Budgets and other project management
tools.
Follow
up on project report submission according to donor specific requirements;
Facilitate
compilation and review of quality reports that both demonstrate impact and
child wellbeing and ensure timely submission for final review by Compliance
Specialist;
Ensure
project reports’ submission meets SO and donor deadline;
Format
and package documentation of best practices and success stories in coordination
with communication department.
Regular
field visits to various project sites for the purpose of project compliance
monitoring and ensure constant dialogue with ROMs and PM on Grant Management,
Compliance and other Integration issues;
Attend
Regional Reflections to ensure that issues on compliance and reporting are
raised and resolved;
Support
Acquisition Team in Resource acquisition processes.
with and represent WVU to Support Offices, Donors, Key NGOs, Partners, and
Government Departments.
Experience:
The applicant for the World Vision Program Officer Grants Compliance &
Reporting job placement should hold a good University degree in Management, Development or other related field
Possession
of post graduate training in Project Planning and Management or Project M&E
A
minimum of five years working experience in a related field
Broad
knowledge and understanding of major donor perspectives, requirements and
standards
Able
to represent World Vision to major donors in a manner that is professional
Requires
excellent organizational and time management skills
Requires
excellent communication and writing skills in English
