Program Manager; Education and Youth Development NGO Jobs – BRAC International

registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated
development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent
Empowerment and Microfinance.
Job Summary: The
Program Manager; Education and Youth Development will implement the activities
of EYD program with efficiency and professionalism to ensure the success of the
program. The incumbent will be responsible for heading the operations of the
program as a whole.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
In
charge of managing program and project implementation.
·        
Tasked
with reporting and analyzing of various program initiatives.
·        
Develop
project proposals and concept notes on education and youth related activities
for funding.
·        
Ensuring
effective and efficient communication with all internal and external
stakeholders including existing and new potential stakeholders/partners.
·        
Build
and strengthen partnership with the actors and forums relevant to the program.
·        
Ensure
financial management and accountability for the program.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
applicant should preferably hold a Master’s Degree in Education, Youth
Development and related field.
·        
A minimum
of seven years’ experience in Education related fields, three of which should
be in a similar position.        
·        
Excellent
monitoring, budgeting, project planning and project proposal writing skills.
·        
Relevant
professional certification (i.e., in project management and technical knowledge
and experience in the relevant field.
·        
Ability
to work in a multidisciplinary environment with minimum disruptions.
·        
Ability
to create and sustain long term partnerships with other development actors
including other international agencies, donors and government.
·        
Excellent
communication skills (both written and spoken) including report writing and
oral presentations
·        
Ability
to work under minimum supervision
·        
Keen
attention to detail.
