Spectrum Management
the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of
developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in
conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.
Planning and Authorization will mainly ensure effective planning, coordination,
authorization, allocation of radio-frequency Spectrum management in accordance
to International, Regional, national guidelines and the Commission’s mandate
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Communications Commission (UCC) Manager Planning and Authorization job vacancy
should hold a Master’s Degree in
Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, or Radio Communications
Engineering or related field and
The
applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic,
Electrical, or Radio Communications Engineering;
Membership
in a professional body is an added advantage
At least six years’ experience in spectrum
management, Telecommunications sector of which three (3) years should be in a
managerial position in similar corporate setting
Personal Competencies: Spectrum Management, Resource management
(resources include numbers, codes, identifiers), Information Management, Research and Development, Communication
skills, Good interpersonal skills, high degree of integrity, Initiative and Innovation
applications with updated and detailed
curriculum vita giving three references, copies of academic and professional
