Key Duties and Responsibilities:

jobholder will operate all transmission encoders/decoders/ multiplexers,

Allocate
resources for incoming and outgoing feeds to and from live venues (Encoders
include Tandberg and Adtec: Decoders include Tandberg, Adtec, Ateme, and
NovelSat)

Quality
Control all feeds Perform ingest operations from all hard media to file based
systems:

incumbent will operate tape decks, , virus scan and format hard drives,
transcoding applications (Adobe Media Encoder)

Manipulate
audio/video using frame syncs, embedders/de-embedders, encoders, and standards
converters through a Cobalt system

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The
ideal candidates for the Traffic / Ingest Operator jobs must hold an Associate
or Bachelor’s degree in technical field is desired but not required

A
minimum of two years of related experience working in the TV broadcast or Cable
environment
