Job Summary: The Driver
provides reliable and safe driving services, ensuring the highest standards of
professionalism, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance
with transport rules and regulations

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The Driver will transport staff to
specific destinations as approved by the Transport Supervisor and in line
with the company vehicle usage policy - Ensure the vehicle is kept in good running
condition through routine vehicle maintenance checks and addressing minor
repairs or arranging for major repairs - Regularly monitor the security of the
vehicle, passengers and luggage in line with the transport policy - Monitor the condition of the vehicle and
report defects for immediate rectification. - The incumbent will be tasked with
maintaining updated records of vehicle movement logs, vehicle fuel
consumption service and repair record.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidates for the NTV Uganda Driver jobs must hold an Advanced Level Certificate (U.A.C.E) - Certificate of Defensive driving from an
established driving school (is a must) - Hold a valid Driver’s Permit with classes
B, CM, DL (is a must) - A minimum of five years’ experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good mechanical knowledge (is an added
advantage) - Knowledge of fatigue management practices
- Ability to maintain performance
expectations in psychologically stressful environment and physically
difficult conditions with limited resources - Excellent command of English
