Mengo Hospital
Kampala, Uganda
in 1897 in Kampala, and is the oldest hospital in Uganda. It currently serves
as an urban community hospital that provides modern medical care. Mengo Hospital
provides comprehensive care including radiology, obstetrics, dentistry,
orthopedics, and surgery. Additionally, Mengo Hospital provides critical
training and education to health professionals through its various programs in
midwifery and nursing, health sciences, and laboratory technology. Mengo
Hospital also has a dedicated research and development team that works to find
new solutions to health issues in Uganda.
Deputy Hospital Administrator deputizes the Hospital Administrator in planning,
organizing, directing, coordinating, supervising, monitoring, controlling and
evaluating the Hospital administration and support services function in
accordance with the established Hospital administrative policies and
procedures.
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital and Health services
Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or Social Sciences,
plus a postgraduate qualification in Management.
Additional
training and qualification in Law is a competitive advantage.
A
minimum of five years’ relevant working experience in administration at Officer
Level, preferably in an NGO, private sector or private health care setting
