Job Summary: The Courier Sales Executives will source new business and service existing clients so as to maximize on revenue generation and collection to meet business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aggressively grows courier business by conducting daily sales visits to potential and existing clients.
- Collects dues on all courier services sold on credit within agreed timelines
- Maintains sales contacts with appropriate representative of major courier clients and to follow-up and resolve any complaints.
- Develops daily/weekly and monthly prospects of potential clients
- Files weekly reports with the courier sales manager on week’s activities and itineraries.
- Provides monthly sales and collection reports to the sales manager.
- Manages all customer complaints and give feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and growing client portfolio.
- Meets weekly with courier sales manager to strategize on prospective clients and evaluate business from the existing clients
- Keenly reviews the previous day’s operations with courier sales manager for efficient service delivery
- Visits identified prospective clients, discusses business opportunities and facilitates signing of appropriate contracts
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Courier Sales Executives must hold Basic University Degrees
- Hold a Diploma in Sales & Marketing
- One to two years working experience in sales related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High drive for results
- Very high personal standards
- Good proposal writing skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Appreciation for numbers
- Strong customer focus
- Good planning and organizing skills
