Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC)
and Western Region, Uganda
Collaboration (IDRC) is a non-profit research organization. IDRC conducts
research in infectious diseases including Malaria, HIV and Tuberculosis. Our
studies have led to over 150 publications and have impacted on the management
of infectious diseases in Uganda. IDRC currently manages over 41 grants with an
annual budget of $11 million. IDRC was established in May 2008 by Ugandan
health scientists from Makerere University College of health sciences,
University of California, San Francisco and the Uganda Ministry of health.
- Picking
and dropping field staff - Help
to run some office errands when called upon - Maintenance
of project vehicle assigned - Reporting
any faults to the supervisors - Picking
and dropping office supplies/equipment. - Provide
safe, comfortable and reliable transportation of PBO study staff - Participate
in regular meetings - Prepare
and submit monthly Vehicle reports to the Administrator
- The
Driver must hold a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) - Defensive
driving certificate - At
least two years’ progressive work experience in a similar position - A
driving license is a must - Ability
to work in rural communities and for long hours. - Team
player, good communication and interpersonal skills
