Job Title:              Quality Assurance Supervisor

Uganda

the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South
Sudan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:   
·        
Sample and visually monitor quality of all
imports received
·        
Ensure all products being dispatched meet the
quality requirements
·        
Coordinate and monitor the labelling of product
with bureau of standards stickers
·        
From time to time physically sample imports to
determine % of conformity
·        
Conduct quality checks of all marketing material
being received at Warehouse
·        
Check all incoming packing materials to ensure
they meet quality standards
·        
Manage and undertake 100% checks on all returns
from trade and carry out repairs and maintenance where necessary
·        
Keenly track data, identify improvement projects
and manage cross functional implementation to improve performance
·        
Receive, process and report on all warrantee
returns, incoming non-conformity, stock integrity in Warehouse and dispatch
defects
·        
Organizing the allocation of the repaired goods
to Marketing
·        
Ensure all safety and quality standards are
adhered to from the point of product storage and movement within the Warehouse
·        
Offer technical support and training to Field
staff and Customers
·        
Organizing for the disposal of unrepairable
goods through EACR of the warehouse
·        
Assist with communication of and adherence with
the company wide safety awareness initiative ensuring a safe, productive work
environment for all
·        
Assist Warehouse Team with day to day processes
and duties within the Warehouse especially around stock management and
dispatches
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
·        
The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma
in Quality Control or related technical field
·        
Prior Supplier Quality experience in
manufacturing environment
·        
At least two years’ experience in technical
environment
·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of Warehouse
procedures
·        
Communication proficiency
·        
Good organizational skills
·        
Mathematical skills
·        
Technical capability
·        
Thoroughness
·

·

·

·
